Life is not a journey to the grave with
the intention of arriving safely
in a pretty & well preserved body,
but rather to skid in broadside,
totally worn out & proclaiming,
"Wow what a ride!"
I don't know who the author is but it's a great philosophy to have. Wishing you the best always.

I've always loved this quote as well. It has been attributed to many people. I wonder who the first was? Whoever it was, hats off! (word verification today? Prose! Rather appropriate for your post, yes?
I love it, too. I think it was Erma Bombeck, but not sure.
In other words, eat your ice cream, and enjoy it while you're at it.
