To those of you who follow my blog, I'm sorry to have been away so long. Three weeks ago I was in a serious car accident in which my car was totaled. I am thankful, grateful and lucky to say I walked away with, so far, a few bruises. I will be back as soon as possible. In the meantime, please enjoy this quote from Theodore I. Rubin, M.D.:
"I must learn to love the fool in me -- the one who feels too much, talks too much, takes too many chances, wins sometimes and loses often, lacks self-control, loves and hates, hurts and gets hurt, promises and breaks promises, laughs and cries. It alone protects me against that utterly self-controlled, masterful tyrant whom I also harbor and who would rob me of human aliveness, humility, and dignity but for my fool."
