Rainy Day in Bethlehem

Bethlehem, Pennsylvania that is.

Finally, it's raining and while I wish it were several days of slow, steady rain I will take, and be grateful for, whatever precip comes our way.

When a trip to the Zane Grey Museum in Pike County fell through due to the weather, we decided to take a trip to the Wired Gallery in Bethlehem to check out their art gallery. While we walked around Bethlehem huddled under umbrellas, I spotted the following pics.

After we returned home and the rain stopped, we hiked the back field where several butterflies, a few soggy bumble bees and a hummingbird moth took advantage of the newly bloomed crop of thistle.

Hoping you're enjoying your Sunday, wherever you are.

Namaste
Chris

Oh Chris--these are so lovely! It has been pouring here in Johnstown since last night, and now it has slowed to a drizzle, but I'm always too chicken to take my camera out in the rain. I think I'll have to get over that fear. :o)

Thanks for the cheerful post on what was a dreary, rainy day here in Ontario. I love your shots. You have a great eye.

I've never seen or heard of a humming bird moth! That is cool. I loved all the photos, but that one especially.
