Acoustic Guitarist Beppe Gambetta

Indpendent radio station WDVR, located in Sergeantsville, NJ, presented International Guitar Virtuoso Beppe Gambetta at the Virginia Napurano Cultural Arts Center this evening to a sold out house. In the words of Steve Wildsmith, of the Daily Times, "Get him on stage and his fingers speak a language all their own. After all, he's not known as the 'Italian King of the flatpick guitar' for nothing."

Beppe is not only a fabulous musician but he is also a very funny man who knows how to engage the audience and have them laughing.

Beppe wore these red shoes the last time I saw him in concert. At the time, I couldn't get close enough to take a phot of them but tonight I had a front row seat and wasn't going to miss the chance again. These shoes are so cool!!

WDVR will host its next concert on Saturday, April 21, featuring the highly acclaimed band, Wayne Taylor and Appaloosa. From the Washington DC area, Wayne was the band leader for the Navy's bluegrass quartet which was part of the US Navy's band Country Current for which he was part of for 18 years. Well known across the country, they are always popular at festivals.

Namaste
Chris
