Happy New Year!!

Yesterday, in anticipation of the New Year, I pulled out a Doors & Windows 2013 wall calendar from Brush Dance and removed the shrink wrap. The calendar is twelve months of beautiful photographs of Doors and Windows from all over the world. On the cover is a quote by Seneca who said, Every new beginning comes from some other beginning's end. What a great quote to start the new year! On the inside cover were the phrases above ~ simple things we all can do to make our world a better place and help us live better, more fulfilling lives.

January begins with an arched, double kelly green door semi-framed with small fuschia roses beneath which is a quote by Joseph Campbell who said, Don't be afraid to follow your bliss and doors will open where you didn't know they were going to be.

A new year ~ a new beginning for all of us! What we do with the next 365 days is entirely, to some extent, up to us. I'm looking forward to this new year hoping to find my new purpose in life. For me, Campbell's quote is the perfect beginning for 2013.

Wishing you all a Happy, Healthy & Prosperous New Year!!

Namaste
Chris

My new calendar for my bedroom is also a door calendar! I don't think mine has any great quotes though. Not home to look at it at the moment. ;) Happy New Year to you dear, Chris!

Hello, Chris! Of course I remember you! Thank you so much for your beautiful card! It is on my desk so I can look at the beautifully lit winter scene. I have been missing the snow a little this year. Sort of. I miss it like, "I do love sitting on the couch while it's snowing outside" not like, "I want to be outside in the snow". Hehe.

I often get a Brush Dance calendar - they always have such beautiful scenes and quotes. At the very least, I like to look at them at write down any new quotes.

Wishing you a new year full of joy and peace and love!
