While last Saturday was overcast, it was a great day for taking photos at one of my favorite places, Longwood Gardens. A friend and I arrived just as the doors were opening and we took a leisurely stroll through the gardens until just after lunch.
This curved bench anchors the end of one of the many garden rooms Longwood has created over the years. It's one of my favorite rooms and this bench is very impressive not only for its size but for the eagle carvings at either end.
If you go, get there early because the gardens get crowded fast.
