Night Lights

Spider

I love fireworks! We are fortunate we don't have to drive anywhere to see them because a neighbor, who does this for a living, puts on a spectacular fireworks display every year. We also have the added benefit of a large field not far from our house where we get a front row seat, courtesy of another neighbor. And so last Thursday, Independence Day, we joined our neighbors who had an old flat bed farm trailer where we could sit and watch as the night sky exploded with light, color and sound effects!

I haven't yet taught myself the rudiments of taking good fireworks photos, it's on my list of things to learn, but these few shots, sans a tripod, turned out better than I thought. My friend Se'Lah takes great fireworks photos without a tripod, which never ceases to amaze me.

Anyway, I hope you enjoy the night lights.

Wow! Chris, you take better fireworks photos than you give yourself credit for! I especially love the last one because I see a few hearts in it. Always makes me happy to see unexpected hearts!
