On my way home today, I stopped at a local farmer and got my first batch of fresh strawberries (got me some cherries too). I scarfed down half of them as soon as I got in the door. They were divine! The first of the season, as we have had so much cool cloudy weather, they were about 2 weeks later than usual. Well worth the wait, I'm thinking. :)

the wheat...my absolute favourite shot in this series. I can just run my fingertips over the top.
