One of the photos on my Bucket List is a good shot of a Great Blue Heron. There are two medium sized ponds not far from where I live and this heron frequents both of them. However, no matter how hard I try to sneak up on him, which isn't easy let me tell you, he always manages to take off before I can get a decent shot. I know there's a technique to getting good bird shots but because of the location of both these ponds I can't easily set up a blind and sit patiently for hours. But one day I will get the shot I want. It just involves a lot of patience and persistence!
The score so far? Heron 65 ~ Chris 2!
